I'm not sure the pilgrims had heard of Marx. Oklahoma, on the other hand, had a thriving Socialist Party in the years leading up to WWI. It wasn't nothing for thousands of the faithful to travel by horse and wagon to a Socialist camp meeting to hear the likes of "Sockless" Jerry Simpson, Kate Richards O'Hare, or Oscar Ameringer speak about the evils of the day.

Marx didn't invent socialism. Like I said, the Pilgrims tried it and that was centuries before Marx came on the scene.

A socialist party is not a government, and everyone knows living a party life is socially unacceptable!

You don't watch much network news or cable news? I commend you.Those are not bad things to avoid. The speech he gave at last night's rally is a pretty big deal on TV, but tv can worm its way into your brain and suck your live corpuscles.

You must get those special channels? Al Jazeera maybe? BBC? 'Cause NBC, ABC, CNN and even MSNBC is staying mum on VA. One of 'em has some shiz about the Tennessee governor wanting to honor some KKK dude. Haven't bothered with any of the others. I guess King Northam stoking the fire isn't worthy of our newsies precious time or page space.
