Just dropped... Obviously it's in 5.7x28 caliber but is it a handgun or rifle? Can't wait to see for sure...
I'll guess a CMR/PMR in 5.7 instead of 22 WMR

They already have the P50/R50 in 5.7 that uses FN 50-round mags. Seems like a CMR/PMR type gun would be a step back. Unless they're just looking for something a little smaller.

I don't own any Keltecs. but it isn't because of a lack of desire. It's amazing what cocaine and sunshine can do for creativity.
Looks like a handgun. I would not be surprised by a PMR20 in 5.7 X 28. However in a carbine? CMR20? That would be kewl. Hate to say it, I am a Keltec fan boy, and not ashamed to admit it. Only thing I don't like about the PMR30 is the mag release on the backstrap.
I like my PMR-30. The fireball at the muzzle has impressed many folks at the range. LOL!
Not to mention the looks you get as the round count climbs. 15....20....25...30
Honorable mention: S&W M&P in 22 WMR. However I do not like the way the front slide separates from the frame. Were they too cheap to add rails and a Grove up there? Reminds me of the Sigma which was a POS.
Maybe because it interfered with the timing? .22 mag semi auto's have had a bad reputation of jamming and other failures.
AMT is a prime example. I have one of the later models that kind of fixed some of the issues, but mag issues kept it from becoming popular.
The timing in the cycle of the .22 mag round that was designed for a rifle had issues in pistols.
The pistol cycled too quickly, so AMT added some stippling to the chamber to slow it down which helped, but didn't cure the issue. Mine shows three areas of stippling on ejected brass.
It's a safe queen now but the PMR-30 comes out occasionally. As said previously, very light, awesome trigger and reliable with lube.
I need to buy another RDB to replace the one I sold years ago.
