Send us a picture in 5 years. Ha Ha I moved into this house 20 years ago with a 30x50 shop building. Yep it was organized back then. fortunately I have a pretty good memory of where I might have put things since then when I go looking for them. Ha Ha

I used to have something much like that @Snattlerake but when you move 1000 miles it’s hard to justify the expense so I’m having to start over. My grandfather was a plant manager for a large machining company and I inherited his well organized collection of 70 years. It was like I had my own hardware store. Now I’m starting over and have but this meager inventory.

Mother of lord jesus! Thank you for those pics.
I feel good about my mess already.
My problem is, being a mechanic, as soon as I throw something out, I need it 2 weeks later.

When we moved a few months ago my wife made me get rid of them.
But at our new house I've already got 3 new ones started.

Yeah but you probably have a shop area to work in. When I have a project I have to move the car out and set up my workbench on two sawhorses. Then tear it down so wifey gets her car in.

I finally got enough money to get these.

You guys are getting a pretty good start.

I hate many of you for giving away free stuff though.
Very seldom do I need to go the hardware store.

I toss no grade bolts in the recycle bin when I find them.
Those are a headache waiting to happen.
