I am. We gotta get back to regular complaining before this place goes to crap.

Did you have to use the word ‘crap’? Why do people have to use the word ‘crap’? I’m tired of this crap.

Actually this is one of the few forums that one can speak openly. So, complaints? As firearms owners we do have many. I have felt like I have had a target on my back since 2008 until 2016, and even that was definitely not a smooth ride. Firearms owners (and those most passionate about firearms) in general are seeing this nation going in the wrong direction in many ways. I have found most to be smart and have strong opinions , and in spite of not agreeing with some found most to be polite and interesting folks. Yes, we complain, now suck it up and stop complaining about it, respectfully.

Oh come on y’all it isn’t all complaints! There is good info and good conversation around here. Occasional good deals in the classifieds too. Sure, there’s a hefty amount of bishing and moaning… but you can always just scroll past it. Heck maybe even start a thread or conversation of your own that isn’t just complaining lol

For all you people complaining about the complaining or people complaining about the complaining I just want you to know I wasn’t complaining about any complaining because I think Americans should be able to complain if they have complaints or complaints about complaints.

Edited to add: if you have any complaints about my complaining or my complaining about complaints take your complaints to the complaint department.

On so many websites that invite comments many are complaints about something; the dog next door, poor roads, rude service from Gin A through Gin Z (excluding the Greatest Gin) and the list goes on and on like I-40 from Barstow CA to Wilmington DE; 4,141.46 miles of heat, cold, frustration, boredom and a million complaints. I’ve noticed here that complaints are often about dumb, stupid, selfish, dangerous, (and other adjectives) that assh-oles (in the 1970s used to describe 7-11 managers); now used to describe anyone who annoys us, even imaginary people who we are sure caused the “problem”. Often, because these are posted by the same people I wonder if it is improving anything in their lives.

Kris Kristofferson, bless his heart, wrote this in 1970. Have you seen any change for the better or is it getting worse?

If you waste your time talking to the people who won’t listen to the things that you are saying - who do you think’s gonna hear?

And if you should die explaining how the things that they complain about are things they could be changing - who do you think’s gonna care?

There were other lonely singers in a world turned deaf and blind who were crucified for what they tried to show; and their voices have been scattered by the swirling winds of time - because the truth remains that no one wants to know.
