My wife gets after me about keeping crap. I tell her - it's not the value of the item it the shutting down the project, driving to ACE, going in and getting it, driving back, I just spent $2.50 in fuel and lost an hour of production. It's not the big items we get in a bind for, it's that little stuff.

DUDE! Seriously, I just bought 4 sets of 24" slides - why-o-why didn't you have those in the "Everything Else" Classified - I still have three sets in the plastic bag that I have to install. I might need more...
I have 2 60 inchers for sale. Those in the drawer are for my wifey's frequent honeydoos.

Was working on the washing machine and had to bring these out to get it done.

Let's see, I have:
2 bins, 3 coffee cans, 4 or 5 peanut butter jars, a 5 gallon bucket, a pile on the work bench, and several in the door pockets of both pickups.

And I have a collection of drawer slides and shelf brackets too!!! Plus don't forget the random wire scraps.

60's now that is a serious drawer. My kitchen cabinet is 24" deep, and you know what happens to the last 19-inches - you throw it in the trash 4 years after the expiration date. So, I am making all the shelves slide outs.

While I have a screw collection, my main hoard is computer cables. My family goes through them at an astounding rate (wears them out, loses them, etc) and I have to keep spares of pretty much everything in existence. I get razzed about it, but they sure are appreciative when I can just go to the bins and get what they need, right then, instead of ordering it. The other is computer parts, I usually have enough to build a last generation PC at any one time. This is because I build all the desktops my family uses and I save the last gen parts until someone we know needs a system. Only thing I usually have to buy is a case for it, as I usually don't stockpile those. They get reused.

Okay I didn’t know we were going to have ‘Secret Fastners Catch Anonymous’ meeting and admit our addictions.

Yes I have multiple buckets, pans, piles, boxes, cans, spills, etc.

Wew! I fill like I’ve had a yoke taken off my neck.
No kidding, I was talking about JUST my nuts and bolts! All spare hardware? It's everywhere! LOL
