Well yeah when its $10 a lb, Id say so. Im not stupid and that's a rip off.

A week or so ago leg of lamb at Homeland was running $12.99/lb and that was for meat whose taste bears very little in common with the flavorful stuff that is grass fed. One would imagine that grass fed lamb would be well over $20/lb.

As for being a ripoff - not really. The price being charged is what the marketplace has determined the price should be based on the supply of it and the number of people demanding it and what they are willing to pay for it. Capitalism - might suck sometimes but it sucks a whole lot less than the alternative.

The Kamps near classen is the original location, I believe it still has the Kamps name but is owned by an asian family now & is not associated with the real one, go to the one off of Western near Britton. Also La Baggette (I think that's the name) off of N. May can get it as well.
