I think you will find Natural Gas prices factored big into that decision ...

the price of natural gas, coal, nuclear & oil should factor into every energy plan along with wind power, currently wind power is a losing proposition

So why are you all complaining about a few dead birds? Humans dying from polluted air doesn’t seem to bother you.

what was the oil company in Oklahoma that had to pay the EPA about 500,000 for a dead duck? how the duck ended up in the slush pit was never known, yet there are hundreds of videos of wind turbines killing birds including eagles, the EPA does nothing, that tower of solar panels built out west reportedly heated the air to 500 degrees killing thousands of birds, luckily, they admitted the tower was useless and just abandoned it
