Take your camera and shoot at least a couple of pics on how the springs and linkages go. You think "I'll remember that this goes over this, and this goes behind this", then not have a clue when you go to install the new part.

I can remember in fine detail many things that happened years ago, but for the life of me, can't remember the color of my socks that I put on this morning.

Good luck!

Got her done and she works fine so far. Next up replacing the door handle on the daughters car (that the wifey broke) then tightening or replacing the belts on the riding mower. Well if the wife and docs will let me bend over that far.

Good job RickN.
Not the wifey that is to blame for broken door handles.
It is the public that allows the new cars to be built with all that plastic and pot metal.
Bunch of JUNK!
Stop buying plastic cars.
I think Revell makes the parts for many cars.. bunch of snap together stuff.
:)

She broke 2 car doors in a week. I can blame her if I want to, and she is to far away to smack me. :pms2::pms2:

My wife hasn’t broken any exterior door handles, but I’m constantly worried that she’s going to rip off the interior handle.
