Received my .45 back from Jon yesterday afternoon. He drilled and tapped the RRA rib and installed it with screws larger than came with the rib. He also removed the front and rear sights of the Kimber, did a little fine tuning on the barrel to bushing fit, touched up the ramp, gave her a complete physical and we are ready to go for this years bullseye season.

Great work IMHO, very methodical in his smithing, could not have been happier. Oh, almost forgot the price...$90.00 out the door.

it is / was. Jon does good work, never asked him why he laid off the whole fly fishing thing, maybe I should.

A couple years back he told me that the drought had just about killed off his fishing business.

Well, that may just be it. I know he took trips down into texas with groups to fish at one point, drought would certainly put a hurtin on that I assume. He pretty much now is only working guns I believe. Giving SDA Classes and the such.
