I am considering the purchase of a progressive press for loading pistol ammo. Particularly .45 ACP, .357 mag & .44 mag. A guy I work with has 3 PRO 1000's and swears by them. The price is certainly attractive and I love LEE products but the price just seems to cheap to be a quality press. Can anyone offer their opinions and experiences with the PRO 1000? All input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There is an excellent series of tutorials on uTube. Very detailed and well photographed demos of how to make the 1000 run optimally.

I have a used 1000 in a box that I may try to get running over the holidays. CB

I got a loadmaster sans dies with the .40 shellplate I need to get rid of an would make you a sweet deal. The loadmaster is the pro1000 on steroids.
