What he said.The way the new owner was picking up the gun he depressed sear bar on the side of the receiver or push the side of the receiver against the table. The safety wasn't on, so the gun went off. It was a known design flaw with these pistols.
Yes, something was mechanically wrong, like a bad design.That's a given. Even the Scenario admits it was careless.
The goal here though, is to explain how it went off based on the events presented.
unbelievable piece of engineering. actually doesn't take much to make go off never should have been used.
