Is that the new magpul buttstock with battery storage?

Got the new Bill Springfield LPK in with his 3LB trigger - it was worth the money, but I'm already wishing I had either jumped on the Timney or gone with the JP seeing as how I came really close to spending that much anyways.

I'm starting to realize why the LaRue Stealth upper is more used for long-range than practical carbine - I've been putting it through some drills and its a heavy bastard.

EZ - That is sweet!:thumb: Did you part out one of your other AR's to build it or is it a new build? I have a Noveske lower on order that will be the basis for a 9mm AR I am building.

That's a new lower (same old LaRue Stealth upper), but I pulled the MIAD and VLTOR EMOD stock off of my old lower. I moved my Spikes down to my son's build and his old lower is on that Sabre Defense upper from OlYeller (its not quite finished yet). I wanted a really good LPK and a good trigger - if you only have $130 to spend on an LPK, I really recommend Bill Springfield - but the problem is that for under $200, you can have the JP (and for $250, you can have a Timney and what's left of an LPK).

Unfortunately, I was convinced to upgrade my other son's barrel on his Remington 700, so that cost me the ability to make that decision now - maybe later, who knows.

Waiting on a stamp...Will be getting engraved soon.

7..25" stainless fluted barrel will be going on the shorty upper, then I'll start piecing together a 9mm set up.

The specs on the top one:

Sonju Upper/Lower
CMMG LPK, buffer assembly
Tango Down grip
Midwest Industries T-9 free float tube
Knights Armament VFG
Magpul MOE stock, trigger guard, ASAP sling plate
LMT BCG/CH
Millett Zoom Dot in a Wilcox Aimpoint Mount (I like Millett optics)
