got some small nicks but its cool cause its going to be beat up getting used, when I get it finished, that is going to be the hard part - getting the money to buy the rest

sweet :yelclap:. im gonna start saving for a noveske as well but probably more so a complete rifle. my dpms is fine for now and i'm keeping it for the kids rifle but definately wanna step up into the realm of high end AR's.

Does a Noveske lower make your AR more accurate or more reliable?

Just funny to see people getting so excited over a roll mark.

I agree... Kinda.

For some people its not all about function. Why do people own Corvettes? You can't really use them in the winter during ice and snow. Same with wake board boats. Its more for fun and looks. Same as truck accessories.

I don't think I will ever buy a Noveske, now if I had enough money I would definitely be looking into getting a billet upper/lower set from Spike's or Black Rain. Not because I need it or because it will make me shoot better, just because I can and it looks cool.

No, the Noveske lower won't make my gun shoot better, but if I ever do decide to sell it, I'll def. get more then what I invested in it. For the price I get them for, it's a no brainer. There are Noveske nut hangers all over the US that will pay just what you're asking because it has that name. :D

It is by far one of the coolest looking roll-marks out there though - think about it, a deer, a snake, a spider - :uhh:

I don't know why, but I really covet a Sabre Defense lower with the thunder-cat on it - and I know I've got to buy the whole rifle to get it, but that is just one of those rarities that makes me want it (even though they come with commercial tubes/stocks, and even though they batch test the bolt/barrel).

At the end of the day, an unmarked Mega would be more than anyone who shoots an AR ever needed - but what fun would that be?

Never know it just might, but I guess I will find that out when its finished. LOL :50cal:

but really, I have read alot about John Noveske and liked his products thought it would be cool to have the barrel (when I get one) match the lower.

And the roll mark is one of the best looking IMO.
