Does a Noveske lower make your AR more accurate or more reliable?

Just funny to see people getting so excited over a roll mark.

Lowers are the most overanalyzed part of any AR build. So long as the tolerances and specs are correct, they have almost zero bearing on the outcome. The best you might hope for is that the upper and lower you select will go together with a snug fit. Hell, most Colt's have upper/lower slop and the worst it will do is annoy your OCD.

But I do have OCD when it comes to my gear. I do obsess over niggling little details like rollmarks, fit and finish, and other unimportant details. So yes my DPMS lower is just fine and no, I don't like it as much as my Noveske, because it says DPMS instead of Noveske. What can I say, I'm that way.

At least I also obsess over important details like gas rings, gas key staking, bolt/extractor parts, correctly pinned gas blocks and gas tuning. You know, all the stuff you can't see that actually makes an AR work correctly.

Kirk whats your opinion of the light you got? how many lumens?

I like it and it is built well and the price was right. But I think there are better options (LED). It puts out 60 Lumens for an hour or w/ a p61 assembly it will put out 120 Lumens for 20 minutes. But it says Surefire and has an ARMS mount for around $160.00.

I have thought about an assembly from these folks to make it about perfect for my uses. (Tin cans, Targets, and possibly a few yotes)

Ear splitting. We only shot it a few times because it was too loud for the little foam plugs we had. And if you look, my left hand is well inside the blast, which burns like hell and is very uncomfortable.

Is there a reason to have a flash-enhancer like that? Does it reduce recoil or is it just the cool factor?
