I really like this rifle! What did you paint it with?

Thank-you

I scuffed the hand guard with 320 grit sand paper and smoothed the rough spots. Then I sprayed it with Bulldog adhesion promoter and topped it off with Krylon Ultra Flat OD Green. Using the Bulldog or Dupont 222S makes all the difference between a cheap rattle can job that just chips off or a factory like finish. I use the same process when I airbrush things for people.

Let me know what you think of the T-1. I thought about getting it instead of the TA33 ACOG. Still thinking about it.

Will do. Just mounted it. Let me get some rounds down range...

Anyways...my 18" gun is in the womb:

Nice! What barrel is that and what is the weight on it?

It's a teflon-coated stainless 1:8 twist, DPMS barrel - the same on used on their Mini SASS rifle.

It's 1.05" just passed the extension. Steps down to use a .936" diameter gas block. I like what I see. Dimpled for gas block set screws, nice fit & finish, M4 ramps. I'm positive that it will shoot great with the 68/69 gr. stuff.

This is gonna be a 'yote / backup gun. Do not have the need or desire to drop Noveske-like money on it.
