We had a guy running lancers during a the TDSA rifle class i was at. Even downloaded 2 rounds he was having problems getting them to seat. They are extremely stiff.

From someone I could trust, hearing that helps me with my decision. I will stick with something I know works. Thanks buddy! BTW, I left you a feedback, return the favor eh ;)

Here is my second AR project....my first AR Pistol, its a work in progress, gonna take her out in the morning for a test run. CMMG upper and a DPMS lower. I hope to get her turned into an SBR in the near future, until then, she will stay a pistol

Nice!

I have a question for all, both of my lowers are just boring ole black. I want to start getting the lady type familiar with shooting. How do you paint the company stamps/logos and the "Fire" and "Safe"? What do you use?

I would like to paint my "Fire" and "Safe" white and red that way it's more noticeable for her, someone who isn't completely familiar and comfortable with shooting yet.

You can use testors enamle, fingernail polish, or crayon. I used crayon on my M&P40 and it looks pretty good. Testors enamel is the way to go from what I hear. I think you can get it at Hobby Lobby and maybe walmart in the crafts section. Just make sure the surface is clean and oil free. Dip a fine tip brush in the paint, touch the rollmarks on the lower and the paint should fill it in. Wipe excess away with a rag and ta daa! You should do pink instead of red tho..

Thanks. When you wipe the excess away, is it best to do it as soon as the paint fills the marks, or wait until it's semi dry, or what? I'd hate to start wiping away half my work or too late and have smears allover my lowers.

"Pink instead of red"... you implying something there, Silly Buns?

:hey3:

I used testors on mine. Works good, just take your time. I prefer the matte colors too for an AR.

I was just saying if its for your lady friend, she might like the pink...

But with my crayon on my M&P40, I sprayed some breakfree clp on a rag and wiped it off. It kinda made the crayon a little darker and not as bright but it still worked. I found a red crayon in my closet and my pistol was sitting on my dresser. I tried it and it worked. Testors enamel would be better.
