Here is my second AR project....my first AR Pistol, its a work in progress, gonna take her out in the morning for a test run. CMMG upper and a DPMS lower. I hope to get her turned into an SBR in the near future, until then, she will stay a pistol

A side question, but where are you all getting those nicer AR mags. They look like they are rubber coated and have the drop protection on them. How cheap can you get those.

I have about 10-15 regular ole AR mags, I plan on getting the Magpul ACR for my AR next and wouldnt mind replacing some mags as well.

Check out the Magpul website for those mags and baseplates. A lot of the local shops sell em.
