LOL! Thought you'd catch that. That was the day I got the upper in, so I didn't own a rear sight yet. But I couldn't resist shooting it anyways.

I have no desire to "pwn" you, and I have no illusions of being the shooter you are (no sarcasm there), or of having the experience with different weapons or gear you have, but it gets old when you can't refrain from degrading other people's guns when they have it just as a plinker or hobby gun.

Oh, and BTW, this is my go to gun, and it's just as good as a NoveskeSabreLarueColtWilson.

Why do you think that's BS? I'm not seeing why you think I'd have any reason to lie about it. If I wanted to lie about something I'd pick something a little more interesting than having an AR that is police issue.

Well for strarters if it was police issue he wouldn't be allowed to sell it seeing as how it belongs to his agency and all. I've also never heard of any agency issuing DPMS .308 carbines. What agency does your buddy work for? I'm sure his admin would like to know you have their property.

It wasn't their property, the officers had to pay for the AR's out of their paychecks. Once issued to them, they could do what they wanted with them. And just because you've never heard of something doesn't make it impossible. I'm pretty sure though that the officers had their choice of .223 or .308, as they were the ones paying for them.
