I think the new hot "brake" to have is the Battle Comp. But BCM doesn't offer that installed on their 14.5" uppers so I'll settle for the PWS. I had a PWS DNTC brake for a couple weeks but it was just too loud for me. The noise and concussion was aggravating even with double ear pro. Maybe I'm just a baby tho.

I made fun of the BCM fan boys over on arfcom. So far, the only thing I can tell about them is they make a decent lower thats very much in spec. Their prices seem really decent on their uppers and parts.
BCM spends more time on their uppers than most manufacturers. They perform many of the processes that get high marks on the "list". One feature that I like, among the many others, is that they park the barrel BEFORE the FSB is installed; a step that most manufacturers skip.

True. I wasn't knocking BCM. It's just funny how many people over there rave about BCM when most have never had one of their uppers or never really put any hard use on it. Not sure how much hard use I'm going to be doing but I'm confident it will take it.

I see what your saying and even still at the listed prices for even the complete rifles, it seems pretty hard to beat given the quality of their products. I'm just wanting a solid carbine that can handle some classes and be a solid defensive rifle if the need ever arised. other than that not sure i can bring myself to spend the money on a LWRC, well i could spend the money but would i get that much more in my given area of use etc. not so sure.

Exactly. That was my thought process on LMT, LWRC, and Noveske. For me, BCM is good-e-nuff.

The "AR" Bug Bit Me Again. I saw it and dang near fell in luv .... This is my new "Reach Out And Touch Someone" Model. I bought the upper from a guy in Oregon and it arrived today. A 28" Bull Barrel ( 1-7.7 Twist), Carbon Fiber Hand-guard and a lot lighter then it looks. I mounted it on a DSA lower that I had sitting around, threw on the Harris Bi-Pod and a 6-24x50 scope. Can't wait to get out and try some 69gr and 75gr rounds with it. Should be a good 250 yard shooter. I 'really' need to slow down on the 'Black Gun$' .... LOL .... Anyway, enjoy!
