Well I wanted to build a budget AR, to show people that it doesn't take alot of money to have one, so I built this using spare parts that I had and only had to buy a stripped lower and upper and rail, all parts were used when I got them. It cost me $425 to build it.

Here is a picture of the upper and lower but not put together yet

Sho nuff... its a tack driver with 75 gr match bthp over about 23.5 grs of 748.

Here's my new build..

LAR Lower and OPS-4 upper
DPMS 1/9 16" bull
YHM Free float tube (thanks Dustin)
AR Stoner Lower parts kit with a trigger polish job
BSA Sweet .223 6-18x40AO scope and NcStar Red dot, both on quick release mounts.

I can't wait to try it out. Weighs in at a hair over 9lbs, but feels solid!
