Thanks I love it. The only thing I'm not thrilled about but I'm getting used to it is:When I'm shooting prone, right under the hand rails and just in front of the mag well; it rubs a blister into the top of my support hand. I'm sure it'll callous over soon but after a few dozen rounds my hand starts to get sore.

How the heck do you use your light mounted that far back. I bet it puts out a bad shadow.

Nope not at all. I guess my G2 is pretty focused so I don't have a bad shadow.

This is my new baby. I sold my Federal Ordinance M-14 and found this AR-10T .308 with a Springfield 4X14X56 rangfinding scope with range marks out to 1000 yards. The second load I tried was 168 gr Speer BTHP with 42.3 gr of Varget for 2576 FPS. That pretty much matches the way the scope is set up for it's range marks. I sighted it in at 200 yards with a 1.23 inch group for .61 MOA. Then Deputy dog showed up and told me I couldn't shoot in the country. After a little internet research I called the sheriff 2 days later and he told me he would be chewing a certain deputy's butt out. I think I'm going to have a ball with this gun.

Looks like the Samson rail, that's a 2HT isn't it?

Yep, it is a Stag Arms 2HT upper with the Samson STAR-C M4/M203 2-piece rail and A.R.M.S. #40L BUIS. Check the Stag 2HT thread for some better pics of the rail. So far, I really like it!
