Let's see all the Target/Sniper bolt-actions

I've kinda go a wild hair now to do something other than .308. Maybe a .338 LM like this one on the Surgeon XL action. Lots of thinking to do.

I took the Leupy off my M700 .280 Ack. Imp. and put on a Nightforce 3.5x15x50 NSX R1 scope. Previous pics on pg. 4.
That Surgeon looks sweet. I'm having a .338 Edge built, which is similar ballistically. I'm using an A-5 stock. Looks like a Manners on the pic. I like the OD too.

I have an older model of that same rifle, with nothing but a scope on it. Favorite plinking/just shooting for fun rifle of allllllll time!

Here are some shots of my Mod. 70 Winchester in 30:06, along with my pre-season sight in target. The scope is a BSA 3-12X50. The distance is 100 yards. Winchester 165 gr. ammo. Not too bad for an old hillbilly on the trigger.

Liberty is a well armed lamb who's willing to contest the majority decision.
Happiness is a full-auto weapon with a belt feed (or a fine sniper rifle in a hidden perch with an endless supply of ammo!)

Also have to consider that the same hillbilly, hillbillied the trigger! Nice shootin, I'll have to have you work on my trigger if I ever get another bolt gun.
