Remington 700, cut down to 16", topped with a Bushnell Tacitcal Elite 4.5 X 14 with DOPE out to 800 yds. This is my rifle, but my 13 yo daughter tries to lay claim to it every time we go out. The picture of her is when she used it this past fall to take a deer at 392 yards. One shot, one kill. The other is a Remington R-25, topped with a Burris ballistic-plex. I have taken deer with this one out to 350 yds using only the reticle hold points.
Long range? No. Sniper rifle? No. Target rifle? You bet. Anschutz 54 MS, with the 3.5 ounce 5018 trigger, and a Leupold BR-24 scope.
Took it out for the first time today . If you ever need the wind to kick up, let me know and I'll plan to go to the range for some long distance work. the flags looked like a sheet of plywood. Anyway, got it dialed in and banged the gong at 500 all afternoon.
