Not vintage but I like it none the less. My 870 in it's final configuration. 3" pattern @ 30 yards with LE1321B to boot! [Broken External Image]
Thanks! Norinco. Got it from Saltydecimator (great guy). I need to get a pig sticker for it. My 9 year old shot it on Friday. When I asked how he liked it, he said, "Great. I like how it kicks!" He was shooting bird shot. It is much heftier than my wife's Norinco made H&R Protector (which we love also). He and she also shot the 5.56 AR for the first time. He fired 3 rounds. She fired the rest in the magazine. He had already shot the 9mm AR before. She kept a tight group for the first time. Maybe 2.5" to 3". She's a killing machine. I took a pic, but that is for another thread. Back to the scatter guns!
They do look really good. looking at the pic info I'm guessing you used the stock kit lens zoomed a little bit? [Broken External Image]
That is correct. I just used the stock Nikkor 18-55mm lens. No external lighting set up...just the SB 600 flash. Vignette effect was used when editing the photos. As soon as I have some time, I plan to build a light box that is large enough to photograph long guns in. It should work much better than the kitchen table with a table cloth as the backdrop.
Zombie, I can't quite put my finger on it, but there's something about that gun that fits you. ch1966, totally blitchin' 870!
Not quite. Not even close. It's an Express Tactical that's been parked by Honeybee, plastic swapped for wood, rebarreled with a 18.5" tritium rifle sighted fixed mod barrel, accessorized with a Mesa Tactical barrel clamp and a J&S Hardware bayo mount. Thanks Super Dave. That winny is awesome!
