Here's my no frills, no excuses Big game rifle. It's nothing fancy. Designed to trudge to the deer stand and stalk in the Rockies. Remington 700 ADL in 300win mag, 3-9x50 Nikon Prostaff scope. If it misses, it's my fault.

This is my saddle gun. Whether the saddle is in my truck or on my horse, she's usually by my side. Winchester '94 built in 1971. She ain't pretty, but I'd bet my life on her no problem. Iron sights accurate to at least 75 yards.

150gr Berry's plated FN
25grs of H4895
Winchester brass
Winchester Large rifle primer (she like CCI the same)
These are light loads due to the plated bullets, but they shoot really well.

Full power ammo uses Remington Core Locked bullets (150 gr as well)
33 grains of H4895
winchester brass
WLR primer
it will shoot accurately way farther than I can see with iron sights.
