Little project gun I'm working on.
Didn't take any pics before I had done the first steel wool and kroil treatment but here it is before I go any further.
Ruger Mki .22.
Will post updates as I progress.

Don't know how noticable the difference is on the pictures after second buffing but it's about 4 shades brighter.

Disclaimer 1- This gun was in bad shape so don't say anything about the rattle can my 11 y/o Autistic daughter is doing this with me and I am letting her make the choices.
Disclaimer 2- She didn't want to go to the shop so I had to make a male shift paint area on the porch.

Layer 2 gradient/fade coat I suppose you could say of 2 blues. She used an industry term (hahaha) as to what it's called but I dont remember.
Sail Blue is the Color.

Interesting. Good on you for involving the kiddo.

She is not into the use of Kroil part put the taking apart , painting, and reassemble process she loves.

Top layer, we didn't read the can, it says best of used on top of black base layer but still turned out pretty good.
Stencils are hand cut from orange painters tape. Very tedious.
Tip for any rattle aficionados if you want to make makeshift stencils the orange painters tape will release from smooth UHMW. Just stick your tape down make your cut and peel it back up.
