Today was the best day ever fly fishing. Started slow using nymphs, got a few. I eventually worked my way down to the Evening hole area and killed them on a dry fly. I was using a size 12 March brown dry fly. No real big fish but got numbers today. Around 40 fish total, biggest was maybe 15-16" range. Got a couple that size but most were 11-13". Still fun and got a little sunburned even being cloudy.

It's actually quite easy to get sunburned when its cloudy...the clouds act as trillions of magnifying glasses intensifying the suns rays.

As for the fishing, congrats!

Trout. I only caught 25 today, it was a shorter day being I had to drive home. I missed a lot of fish and they missed me too. I hooked one in the tail today. The fish rose to hit my fly and missed. As it turned down I pulled and got his tail. They don't always get the fly just as I don't always get them.

I just wish I was close enough to be on that stream as much as you. I'm jelous.
