Load development for the individual firearm, 6.5 Creedmoor

I’ve only recently heard of Sinclair, probably because I typically avoid Brownell’s. That website is the least user-friendly site I’ve ever tried.
Anyway, I’ve yet to buy anything Sinclair, but I have seen a ton of high reviews on their stuff, so I’m planning to. I’ll check out their trimmer.

I am old enough to remember when Fred Sinclair always answered the phone at Sinclair International. Always sold the best equipment made. Big fan of the buy once cry once. I have 3 or 4 case trimmers to prove it.

Well, I pick up my Ruger Precision in 6.5 CM tomorrow from the FFL after being delayed once more.
Lots of good reloading info in this thread for any caliber, but since it started with the 6.5, I felt a need to boost my thread count.

Let me know how you like it. I’m really wanting a Ruger Precision, I’ll have to find brass first though. Since I have 2 - 6.5 CM, I’m seriously considering 6.5 PRC. I’ve found some here and there, but PRC is a little more scarce than Creedmoor brass. Obviously I have everything else, but I do have plenty of time. With the price tag of the RP, I’ll need to save cash a while, as well as a blood draw, renting the wife out (for her cooking and cleaning skills, WTF else were you thinking? Jeez), as well as throwing in my truck, and my next grandchild.

Fact, everything I’ve read about Sinclair equipment, since learning of it, is all excellent.

Like I said though, I typically stay away from Brownells, due to the crappy (or rather more sophisticated, above my education level) website design. I know they have just about anything and everything, it’s just easier for me to use Midway and Amazon. If it’s not brass, primers, or powder, Amazon has everything. Sometimes cheaper than Midway, sometimes not. They are more user-friendly, and use the “so easy a caveman can do it” or “Dumb Redneck” layout. Since I’m a poor ol Redneck, and speak it and Caveman fluently, I feel right at home there. I often look on MidSouth, Precision, Powder Valley, Grafs, Natchez, but since the pandemic started, these have very little in stock. Plus, I’ve always considered Brownells the website for the “Higher Tax Bracket” more educated customer site.

I have one in .308 and I love it so far. I’m Still working a load up for it but I was able to hit the gong at 700 yards the other day with Hornady Match. I need to dial it in just a bit more.

One of my buddies has one in 6.5 Creedmor and it’s extremely accurate.

My bad, it is a Ruger American. 22" barrel, threaded for a can. I took it apart today, cleaned up everything and got it lubed. Nice adjustable trigger.
Been scouring the web for brass and bullets. Found Lapua 108 grain HPBT bullets. That was it. No brass to be found.
I did notice there was large primer pockets and small primer pockets when looking for brass. I'm well into the thousands of small rifle primers, as well as decent stock of large.
Anyone notice any difference in the ignition or performance between the two? I'll probably be using H4350 or Varget powder.
