I had worked up loads for all my 45acp hand guns specific to each gun. This got ridiculous keeping 45acp ammo gun specific although they would shoot great. Finally picked the bullet and powder that I wanted to use then made 20 rds each varying powder charge. I shot five rounds thru each gun till I found a charge that had acceptable accuracy with all handguns. Next 20rds each varying COL found a sweet spot that tightened groups another half inch. No more keeping ammo separated and if I need more accuracy I still have gun specific loads recorded. Test range was 25yds.

@dennishoddy was right. Faster isn’t always more accurate.

46.0 grain load shot decent.
46.2 grouped very well.
46.4 spread a little bit
46.6 was awful
46.8 I didn’t even shoot because of 46.6
Ended up taking the 5 at 46.8 and breaking back down to recharge and reseat.

I forgot to go take a picture of my target but next range trip I’m going to zero my rifle better since they all seemed to pull to the left or it could have been the wind that was blowing out of the south messing me up. Anyways I did shoot a box of Hornady Match Ammo that had the same grain bullet as my reloads and that stuff shot very well. I even took it out and hit the 700 yard gong a few times. As far as reloading I’m going to keep the 46.2 grain charge for now and adjust my bullet seat depth. I hope I get a non windy range day next time.
