I just got sick when I saw the video. I was on the manhunt for the 2000 contact Chief Thomas talked about on TV today. A buddy of mine was with Perry PD at the time and he pulled the POS over. The POS pointed a rifle at my buddy. My buddy took cover and when the POS sped away, my buddy opened fire. There was a perfect cluster of holes in the back window of the POS's car in a direct line with the POS, but the POS didn't have a scratch on him. They got in a pursuit that ended up by Lake McMurtry where the POS bailed on foot. They activated the SPD SWAT Team of which I was on at the time. We spent all day tracking and trailing him and the POS finally got caught by our Assistant Chief when the POS stepped up out of the woods up onto the roadway and gave up. The POS is a cowardly SOB.

Rant over, I don't feel better.

They released the body cam footage today. It ought to be a short trial and jury deliberation. 5 seconds of video is all it should take. I hope the POS gets the needle.

Agree 100% but probably unlikely, in the long run. POS may get that sentence but it will never be carried out. Witness the shenanigans currently underway in Arkansas and extrapolate.

I hear ya. It's too bad you guys can't just do what needs to be done. This true is NOT human.

I remember seeing an interview with the OHP trooper who had had a run in and scuffle with Alton Nolan. She said now she wishes she'd just killed him then.

Hindsight's 20/20 my friend.

Until yesterday, I did not know who the deputy was. I happened to look up at the tv at work and saw his face. RIP David. You and your dad can go enjoy the range together now.

I either heard or read the deputy was told by dispatch that LeForce was wanted on some charge/warrant during the phone call that concludes on the edited body cam footage. Is this information correct?

From what I heard on the video it sounded like he had no warrants.

Maybe I heard wrong???

From what I could hear they had no record, as in wrong Name, DOB, or something else trying to conceal their identity. The Deputy then says that something is fishy and then speaks to whom I would assume is the landowner about paperwork and then attempts to speak to the POS. The POS is drawing before anything can be said and starts firing.

It could be as simple as the dispatcher putting in something wrong why there was no record but the POS is probably on something and paranoid when the Deputy comes back so he decided to shoot rather than be civil.

As far as the "needle" and the problems Arkansas is having with the expiration. I have a simple solution and it won't expire, twenty guys with a single bullet each. Bring back the firing squad, for this POS I am first in line to volunteer and I will pay for the ammo for the whole squad.
