I have always liked the Applegate Fairbairn knives. The dagger is on my wish list, but also wanted the large folder. I had the small folder for a while, but had it on me walking into an airshow. The options were drop it in the trash or walk the mile plus back to my car, so I found the nearest Air Force security guard, an 18-20 year old girl, and asked her if I could just give it to her to keep. She seemed happy, hopefully she got and is still getting some use out of it.
Now a couple years later my wife found a decent deal on the full size knife and asked if I wanted for an early birthday present, I said heck yes, and here it is.
