I went with that since I already had the picatinny mount but I understand where you're coming from.

Yeah, here is my problem. And I can't move the scope any further back without removing the rear sight. And I don't want to do that.

But a 3/8 to warne or picatinny adapter. Then you have a ton of options. Use loctite. This is my setup on all my good ,22s. No issues.
