BillPenn I saw you other thread on your 1911 build. I thought $50 for front strap checkering was a pretty low price. Hand cut checkering old school was pretty amazing.

i used to charge $240 for 20,25 or 30 lpi

Cutting edge arms, Bethany. They have wiled one Smiths all the way to multiple slide machines for rds. I would trust them with any quality weapon

Thank you for all the recommendations and even an offer or two of assistance! Ended up taking the airweight to Wilshire guns. The repair was no where near as expensive as I thought it will be. I still need to take it up to the range and will before I place it into service. Like semi autos but revolvers are pretty nice too. Too bad .38 special is not as inexpensive as 9 mm.
