The point of the M&P22 is not to be slim or compact, it's to recreate the size and feel of the standard M&P guns.

Kings guns in Cushing had them at their table at the gunshow last weekend, I forgot what they were asking for it but you might give them a call and see what their price is on it.
It seemed only slightly smaller than the regular M&P. I almost bought it but I went for the threaded Ruger 22/45 instead.

I have put about 600 rounds thru my M&P22 and it hasn't given me any problems. Not a single failure with Federal Value Pack. Remington Bonus Pack has misfires 1 in every 50.
