m1a/m14 Gunsmith

Does anyone have any recommendations for a gunsmith in the OKC who is familiar with m1a/m14s? A lot of guys mail their rifles off to retired m14 armors. Im just trying to avoid the shipping hassle and to keep it local.

Typically a complete build is for someone without the rifle...from your op it's sounds as tho you already have an M14. It probably has most if not all USGI components which is what's desirable. Is your M14 tired and just worn out? I've had a trigger job done by Art Luppino over on the M14 Forum and can recommend his work...he's in TX.
