I sew something like it a while back. PETA spent $1000's to save a seal. When they released it a Shark ate it. I had a smile on my face for a week.
When the Exon Valdiz spilled oil in Prince William sound, somebody rescue'd some otters. They washed them, and kept them captive until the spill was cleaned up.
Big production when they released them back into Prince william sound. School kids, etc.
Let them go, and they floated around on their backs for awhile. Then a killer whale came up and ate them. Thats nature.

About 15 years ago, my dad and I were fishing in Colorado. Secluded stream, really beautiful setting. Then a 12 foot-wingspan eagle dives down, snags a 3-foot long trout from the waters, takes it to a cliff about 100 feet away and tears into it. Never seen anything like that in my life. We didn't catch a damn thing that day.
