Whatever happen to Trumps proposal on legalizing suppressors without permit?

One has to ask, how should this be prioritized? Get control and reduction of government spending, If he can cut gov't agencies, get the economy on track, lower the deficit, world peace and eliminate the IRS or would you rather have an inexpensive permit-less suppressor? I think reduction of gov't agencies or their power would go a long way towards eliminating barriers to suppressors.

Priority one. The ATF has been able to essentially create law and make criminals out of citizens by violating the Second Amendment.

Pulling their teeth would set a fantastic precedent and give a real lesson that this republic is for and by the people.

Abolish it. Their budget next year is 1.95 billion dollars. An 11% increase from this year.

Get rid of them. That is 2 billion right off the bottom line.

That’s our biggest problem-alphabet agencies with “rule” making authority. I don’t blame them, the commies we put in congress relegated their authority to the executive branch, the judiciary hasn’t the stones to stop it and no executive will ever agree to return it. And as politicians have no incentive to actually fix anything, my expectations for Trump to be provided any real support from congress is quite low. I guess we’ll see……

Just trying do pull my own weight around here. I am a pretty cheerful person this season. I have lots to be thankful for.

But I have high expectations for the Semiquincentennial celebration in July of 2026. 18 months is probably about an enough time for everything to come to a head in certain areas of the nation.

I wonder how they are going to wrap Semiquincentennial around the outside edge of a quarter. Bet they replace the drummer dude with the some LGBTQ symbol and the Latin to say. ego sum daturam

I really hope this nation gets on a truer path than we have been for the last 5 decades.
