Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy is at it again. Call, email, etc. your representatlive and tell them to vote “NO” on the Gun-Grabbers’ Magazine Ban Bill (H.R. 308). "Big Deal" if you think your magazines will be "Grandfathered In" and you'll be safe:

....."For now, the law says that you are “legal.” If the gun control lobby gets their way(H.R. 308 passes), you can’t ever sell it, give it away or pass it down to your kids.".....

I'm a bit confused. Help me out here.

The bill will require a "serial number that clearly shows that the device was manufactured after such date of enactment, and such other identification as the Attorney General may by regulation prescribe." commencing "...after the date of the enactment of this sentence".

There will be millions upon millions of "pre-ban" magazines out there that are not traceable and nobody knows who they currently belong to. How could anyone hope to prevent transfer of said magazines since there is no way to determine they were transferred in the first place?

And the most obvious question is why would the freakin criminals even give a chit about no stinkin' hi-cap 'clips' ? All this law does is burden the law abiding citizens.

I have always tried to point out to people who think they are excluded because of a grandfather clause. Can you prove that you owned the grandfathered object before the law went into effect?
Honest officer these magazines are permitted because they were purchased 20 years prior to the ban.
