I have one on my M&P15 and really like it,for the money its a great deal..

I am running a sling on mine, no issues whatsoever.

How did you attach it?

Short section of Ergo rail, near the rear of the handguard, directly in front of the receiver. I attached an MI MCTAR-08 QD Sling mount to the rail. Works great.

They seem to be on back order at a lot of web sites including magpul. They do seem to be affordable. I have some ordered at a coworker's company. I just wanted to be stylish and cool looking with different handguards. I didn't really have any other reason to get some.

If you can't find them on Brownells I know another place to get them....

I really dig them. If you don't run a rail you should run a MOE. Here's my wifes blaster in FG...

Ha! No, I just snapped that pic real quick. It has a Troy fixed rear now.

Well hey, a better shooter than I always said the rear sight's just to make sure your head's in the same spot.
