CLINTON, Conn. (AP) — A Connecticut man was arrested after police say he wandered into the wrong home drunk and got in bed with a stranger, who woke up startled and called 911.

Police say the incident happened early Saturday morning at an apartment complex in Clinton. Officers say 26-year-old Tyler Sullivan of Haddam told officers he thought he was at his mother's apartment, which is in the same complex

A man in the home said he told Sullivan to leave, but Sullivan refused. Police say Sullivan was still there when officers arrived.

Sullivan was charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct. He was released on $1,000 bail and ordered to appear in Middletown Superior Court on Nov. 4.

It's not clear if Sullivan has a lawyer. A phone listing for him couldn't be found.

Channel 6/KOTV is running a piece at 6 about how thieves can make keys for your front door. Theyre getting bold.

No need to make a key for a door, just make a couple universal "bump" keys and you can access any door the key fits in with a little practice.

As far as the OP, had something like this happen with my vehicle. Was working an outdoor pyrotechnic display just before Independence Day and had my car parked right next to where we were working. The area was roped off and no one was supposed to be there plus it was in line of sight for the area I was working. Pulled the battery to power the equipment to fire the show and had left the car unlocked since there was nothing in it of value and couldn't be easily stolen unless someone just happens to lug a 70 pound battery around. Get done and find some drunk old man in the seat passed out, thought he was in his car and had his keys sitting on the seat. Told him to GTFO threw his keys in the bushes about thirty feet away and watched him stumble off towards the parking area nearby without his keys.

Some people just can't stay half coherent if they have something they can drink, smoke, pop a pill, etc.
