I bet you money that he lied. He will so anything to hurt our rights. Just like his wife. I guarantee that he knew what he was saying was a lie.
This is a common strategy of politicians to tell you what they want you to hear knowing the damage is done, the masses believe what they say even if it is a lie and they don't even worry about retracting it since the liberal media won't call them out.
Giffords was shot in the head. She's partially paralyzed on her right side and she can't speak more than 3 words without looking at a script. When she left the hearings she looked exactly like my wife struggling to walk. And it's taken her two full years of intense therapy to get to that point. I don't agree with her politics but I think anyone who regresses to the level of belittling her is just plain ignorant. If that's the best you can do in the way of debating the issue of gun control you've already lost. I figure someone who gets shot in the brain gets a free ride to think whatever they want about gun control.
That's so wrong it's not even funny. Being a victim does not make you special or privledges or even exempt from criticism on your political views. I think what she and her husband are doing is far worse than criticizing her stance. She is using her victim status to try and strip away the rights of others, which is appalling. I've been shot too. I have the right to be angry too. But I refuse to use my status to punish and strip away the rights of those who did nothing wrong. And for her husband to use her status to tell lies and push towards stripping away our rights is exploitation and sick.

I've actually been shot. Im not blaming her for getting shot. I am blaming her for using her position as a victim to push infringements n the rest of us. And her husband exploiting her is sick. Being a victim doesn't give you the right to exploit your status or the status of loved ones to attack the rights of others. Do you get it yet, or would your rather trade insults?
The reason I believe it to be wrong is because when we are making laws, it should be something done based on facts. When you bring in raw emotion, you cloud your judgement and cannot see through it to reality. It is the same thing with using kids. It preys on the emotions of the public instead of having them look at facts. It's manipulation instead of providing the information and letti g people make sound decisions.
