Want To Buy ......Marlin Mdl. 60 .22 LR.

I haven't spent time on the phone calling around or drove out a tank of gas yet trying to locate one but I've been to Walmart, Academy and Atwood's in Norman and they're sold out.

Anyway, I'm looking for a brand new or low mileage safe queen stainless & wood or blue & wood Marlin model 60 .22 long rifle.

I've got a Mod 60 made in 1978 that's never been shot --- still has all the factory labels and tags on it! It is a low dollar safe queen and an OTASCO anniversary special edition. Not for sale at this time, however.

It's not a discontinued model as far as I can tell but used to be you couldn't shake a bush without having a few Mdl. 60's falling out of it and now all of a sudden they are scarce as hen's teeth for some reason......like everything else the shortage is probably Wuhan Flu related.

Thanks for taking the time to look for me @O4L and I'll keep that one in mind as a last resort.......really kinda got my heart set on a wood stock as opposed to tupperware.

If you would have looked earlier they had the SS version with the wood stock.
