Cleaning out a closet in a seldom used wing of the house and -- found a couple of boxes of magazines i thought had long ago been sent to a recycler bin (or just dumped)

--- time to take on a few new work assignments as all this levergun and single action porn may trigger me

The closet cleanout i described in my post about finding old magazines actually started when i was trying to organize a bunch of lost and forgotten books - as i "rescued" 2 old library carts to repurpose at my house - these came from the FAA and were used for technical manuals and the like - i didnt really do anything to restore them except power wash decades of crud off of them and then liberally apply some lemon Pledge -- the worn patina goes well with the rest of my crapola and they are pretty handy but in going through closets full of books i found some treasures that are interesting

This one i think is really cool, from Grits Gresham -- signed - would love to share a pic of it with Mr Tom on one of his social media outlets, but i am not well versed on using "X"

Lots of Hemingway stuff, but these are coffee table books highlighting America's favorite alcoholic

Bill Jordan's classic - curiously with the font on the spine of the dust jacket printed upside down --

next up is the Rifle Omnibus - flanked by a copy of the Good Book

And a heavily used copy of The Complete Book of Rifles and Shotguns - by Mr .270, Jack O'Connor

I've been an avid reader my whole life -this is a mere fraction of the pile , as i have tons of more general interest and non fiction on hand , but these are the gems of the firearms and hunting categories -- i only hope that one day i will have somebody in my family that is interested enough to pass my books (and guns) down to

Laughing - Cabot High School library - Cabot, Arkansas - i went to school there from 1985 to 1988 . I just wonder what the fine would be if i returned this now :lol: :lol: :lol:
