uhhh not in my experience! I had him put an 8.8 rearend in my 84 mustang and i got charged $1,500. His labor rate is $80+ an hour. I wouldnt ever go back there, he kept calling my car "his"
Thats what its going to be at just about any independent shop. Most dealer shops are at or over $100 an hour. I normaly charge $50 an hour for the side work I do.
my go to guy for mechanic work what i cant do myself charges $45/hr
There arent many good shops around that are that cheap anymore. If hes good hes not charging enough.
