As bad a deal as it still is i was able to pick up 4 bricks of 22LR for $40each but most others wanted 70+ some fair enough prices on some other ammo I was looking for but overall most were just proud...

Since when do the gun show promoters control dealer prices? If we could find one of those it might be worth the price of admission.

You are a little confused. That promoter is the one selling the ammo. He is a dealer at his own shows. If you want a promoter to control prices, keep waiting. That is bad business. Prices are controlled by the market. That's capitalism. I've said it before, if you want prices to go down don't support the high prices. Be patient and the market will return to normal eventually

That pack of Federal bulk ammo is pretty old. I got one at home and I think the sticker on it was something like $8.
