Cute things....

I actually came by some 16 ga shells awhile back that are 2 1/2" vs the normal 2 3/4".
Fiber wads and no plastic shot cup. As I got the story, these are fairly recent plastic european shot shells. They don't want the plastic left in the fields from the wads and have kept the shotshells like the old days of felt wads and no cups. I'm guessing you're probably also required to pick up your hulls which any responsible shotgun shooter will do anyway.
I haven't tried them yet in the Sweet 16, so can't give any reliability results. Deer season is over, so shotgun time is upon us.

I picked up a two boxes of Federal Shorty (15 pellets of #4 buck @ 1200 fps).
It cycled flawlessly and patterned at about 2.5" at 21 feet. No recoil to speak of and my 88 will hold 11 and 1, that should suffice for most situations I`ll encounter! "Lions and tigers and methheads, oh my!"

Just for grins.....I hit that cap block from about 16 ft with a mini slug.
Listed at .88 oz and 1250 fps. I don`t think I would take `em bear hunting but around the house they should be a decent little problem solver....

I like these in the #7 1/2 variation. I shoot them out of my Rem 1900 side by side.

Just for grins.....I set one gallon of water behind a little piece of corrugated metal and hit it with a Federal #4 mini buck from about 16 ft. It punched a 2 1/2" hole and made the water bottle jump up about 22" and out of the frame.
