I decided to add some mods to my g43. Here is what I am waiting on from the big brown truck..
True Precision Copper threaded barrel,
Agency Arms 417c Compensator
Ghost 3.5 connector
Taren Tactical +2 mag extension
Ameriglo TFX Night Sights.

Anyone else done any modifications on their G43?

Mine has the Ghost Edge Connector, a Kineti-Tech Flat Trigger, a 25 cent trigger job, a fiber optic front sight, and about 5,000 rounds through it. It also has a "naturally acquired" battle-worn finish. It's been an almost daily carry gun now for going on 3 years. Several extra mags...5 I think. Couple of 'em have the Pearce +0 extension; I don 't trust those +2 extensions on a mag spring that wasn't designed to push those extra rounds on up there you know? Oh yes, it runs like a stripe-ed-azz ape too. I carry it in a TT Gunleather KX Lightweight most of the time, an RM Holsters "Lowrider" IWB in Kydex for quick on/off, or even sometimes an OWB Pancake Rig from Tueller Holsters.

I have put over 1000 rounds through my other Taren Tactical +2s and have never had a problem with them.

And that’s cool. I’m sure a lot of people like you have had good luck with them. They are just not for me. Maybe I’m just not feeling lucky...

Oh yes, I forgot, I also added an extended slide lock lever as well. Much easier to push it up than the flat one. And a talon grip too.

Edited to add pics:

The kydex sure wreaks havoc on the finish...of course,I was outside with it for a few days and it got awful dusty, so I’m sure that contributed to it. No big deal. I prefer the leather from TT Gunleather but the RM Lowrider is good for wet conditions as well as easy on and off.
