Anyone in the Edmond area have a big pipe wrench I can borrow for maybe 10 minutes? Diverter spout on the main bath fell apart and the back plate is pretty much frozen on. My big wrench has disappeared and none of the wrenches I have will open wide enough to grip the plate. It is probably almost 3 inch diameter. I can go buy another but I hate to spend the money on something I will use once in 10 years if that.

Tomorrow, or whenever is fine. Just let me know ahead of time so I will be here and not working on the daughters house.

Thanks.

Possible.
Can you snap a pic of it? Might be other ways to get it loose. Or a photo of something similar from the net. I'm not aware of anything that goes on there that requires a big wrench.

Are you talking about the actual spout that the water comes out of? It's either pressed on with a little seal or is threaded on to a pipe sticking out. Not sure what the back plate is. If you need to turn the spout you can stick something in the opening like a screw driver handle and get a lot of leverage on it.
