There was also a massive fish kill in the Chesapeake Bay last week numbered in the hundreds of thousands. Apparently the fish were supposed to have left for warmer water by now and the deaths have been attributed to cold stress which is very plausible. They did say they were unsure why the fish didn't leave though.
