Well, just got back from seeing Mom, will go back later as I only live two miles from the hospital. Better news today. Mom looks better and is in better spirits. Doctor said her kidney function is better today and no mention of her liver like yesterday. It appears she was mostly dehydrated and hadn't been getting enough exercise to keep her kidneys functioning properly. Thanks for all the good thoughts, everyone.

Mornin' everbody. Got some rain last night, still looks like it could do some more. Gonna go visit Mom in the hospital in a bit. Wish they would discharge her so she could be at home for Christmas.

Unfortunately, Mom is still in the hospital. They want to do a simple procedure on her, but they couldn't find a specialist to do it, so it looks like it will be tomorrow before she can come home.
